Bio

William Scotty Smith was raised in the jungle by a pack of wild wolves. After a vicious attack on his wolf family, he roamed the jungle freely with the help of a panther named Bagheera and a bear called Baloo. After close encounters with a boa constrictor, an orangutan, and a tiger, he followed a human girl to the human village, where he discovered the true virtue of people clothes. Eventually, he followed that girl all the way to Mississippi, where he started a career in teaching.

Education

Professor Smith was educated at Freed-Hardeman University, an institution from which he holds Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Education in English degrees. He has done post-graduate work at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, the University of Memphis, and the University of Mississippi, all in English. His areas of emphasis in post-graduate study were British Literature and Creative Writing.

Experience

Professor Smith started his work at Southaven High School in 2004. He began teaching adjunct classes at Victory University in 2011 and at Northwest Mississippi Community College in 2014.
